1971 Honda CB500 Four K0

50 bhp    415 lbs     102 mph

Shortly on the heels of the ground breaking CB750 Four came the middle-weight CB500 in 1971. Even though immensely popular, it actually only lasted till 1973, whereafter it became the much longer lived CB550.
Only major design difference to the CB750 is that the 500 has a wet sump.
Bore x stroke is 56.0 x 50.6 mm (giving 498cc or 30 cubic inches), compression is 9:1 and it has 4 x 22mm Keihin carburettors.

This bike is an original K0 (in other words a US model) in original Candy Garnet Brown paint. It was imported to the UK in 2016.
