57 bhp 633 lbs 100 mph
Harley released the FLSTN designation for the 1993 to 1996 years. They were limited edition bikes (3,831 produced of the 1996 model) with a specific two-tone colour in each year. The 1996 bike was painted Platinum Silver and Mystique Green with gold pinstripes.
The design is a combination of the Heritage Softail, Fatboy and Softail Custom. It features unique two-tone leather saddlebags. Overall the bike is finished in a lot of chrome.
The seat height is 28 inches.
The engine is the 1,340cc / 82 cubic inch Evo (57 bhp @ 5,000 rpm & 71.5 ft-lb torque @ 2,350 rpm). The Evo engine was introduced in 1984 and succeeded the Shovelhead. It lasted till 2000 when it was replaced by the Twin Cam. The Evo was critical to the overall regeneration of Harley post the 1981 management buy out.
This bike was bought almost new (done 1,300 miles) in South Africa in 1996. It was part of the original Johannesburg HOG Chapter founded in 1997. It has some typical period after market mods as well as a Mikuni carburettor and associated air filter.
